30TH ANNUAL KING MANGO STRUT (Dec. 31) –- This zany, wacky spoof of the former Orange Bowl Parade includes the “Little Miss Mangoes”, the “Marching Freds” (anyone named Fred is invited to join in!), the “Roadkill Band” and other offbeat participants. BIG ORANGE NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION (Dec. 31) – A City of Miami tradition, the 35-foot neon Big Orange (one of the nation’s official time balls) will rise 400 feet to the top of its home site, the Hotel InterContinental Miami.
